Shadi Razmdjou, MD, the newest member of the team at Digestive Disorders Associates, is looking forward to taking care of adult patients with gastrointestinal issues, liver disease, or those simply seeking cancer screening in the Anne Arundel Community. She sees patients from the practice’s offices in Annapolis, Chester, and Gambrills, Maryland.
Between her time spent at Albert-Ludwigs University, one of Germany’s top medical schools, and having completed medical rotations all over the world (including Nepal, India, South Africa, Canada), Dr. Razmdjou has gained a unique perspective on healthcare and a deep understanding of patients’ needs of all backgrounds.
After medical school, Dr. Razmdjou moved to the United States and completed her residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She went on to complete her fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, with a focus on esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer screening, liver disease, and a broad spectrum of digestive disorders.
In her personal time, Dr. Razmdjou loves to travel and only has one more continent to conquer. She loves the outdoors and rock climbing, and as a new mother, she cannot wait to see her child flying up the wall.
